CHANDIGARH: Rayat Bahra University organised a HR Conclave 'From Campus to Corporate: Bridging the talent delta'. The event was organized by the placement department of the Rayat Bahra University. The one-day conclave brought together industry leaders, HR professionals, and experts from diverse sectors to explore strategies for thriving in today's dynamic workplace. Students gained valuable insights through engaging discussions on the latest trends in HR technology, talent management, and building organisational trust. Harjeet Khanduja, senior vice president (HR), Reliance Jio, said the employability gap was not just the syllabus, but between the classroom knowledge and real-life experiences challenges students face. 'Even the students who are good at academics, fail to adapt to workplace problems, find it challenging to adapt to real life situations like problem-solving under pressure, learning new technologies and collaborating within a team of multi-generational differences,' he said.
