Light, scattered showers forecast in Green Bay during day 1 of the 2025 NFL Draft
NFL Draft attendees in Green Bay can expect light, scattered showers as the picks are announced Thursday evening, the National Weather Service says.
Temperatures around draft grounds will linger between the high 50s and low 60s in the later afternoon, before dipping toward 40 degrees in the evening, according to Gus Kaiser, a meteorologist for NWS Green Bay. Draft attendees shouldn't be too concerned about inclement weather, he said.
"With the rain tomorrow evening, people out at the draft may hear a couple of rumbles of thunder during the evening, but I wouldn't expect any intense thunderstorms or anything for Green Bay," Kaiser said.
For those driving up to Green Bay on Wednesday night, there are thunderstorms sweeping across the state that may bring hail and brief, heavy showers to the area, Kaiser said. As for the rest of the week, Friday morning will bring more steady rain to Green Bay, before showers taper off in the afternoon. Saturday is forecast to be dry and cool, with temperatures hitting a high of mid-50 degrees.
Draft events will only be postponed in the case of extreme weather that threatens public safety. Information for fans will be available on pushed out via the NFL OnePass app and announced over the PA system on-site.
