Katherine told us: 'Leitrim is full of the supernatural. It's full of magical tales of mythical creatures and legendary figures.
'Fionn mac Cumhaill is buried on Sheebeg in Kesh, five miles from my house. There are tales of fairies and changelings and the legend of the Dobharchú (water hound) of Glenade lake — a mysterious creature that is said to lurk in the waters.

The TV star joked how she hoped Leo being in the new Harry Potter TV show might help her land her own role in the series.
Katherine said: 'Maybe I could turn up with Leo at my audition. Emma Thompson was in Harry Potter. I'd love to do the same.
'I'm sure when the show launches, they'll be having bonfires all over Leitrim to celebrate Leo.'

TV bosses have been busy assembling the cast for the new adaptation, and several new members have now been officially confirmed to join the Wizarding World.
