Moroccan filmmaker Hicham Hajji's «The Lost Princess» set for May release
Moroccan filmmaker Hicham Hajji's action-adventure film «The Lost Princess» is scheduled for VOD (video on demand) release on May 13, 2025. The trailer reveals a story of forbidden love, historical intrigue, and adventure filmed in Morocco.
According to the film stars Cillian O'Sullivan as American billionaire Alec Touati, who discovers his roots through an Ayahuasca vision that transports him to a haunted Moroccan castle. There he meets Hanna, who shares her mother's tragic tale of forced marriage to a Saudi Prince and a secret love affair with the castle's caretaker. The cast includes Gary Dourdan, Soraya Azzabi, Robert Knepper, Irma Lake, Melodie Casta, and Eric Roberts.
This is Hajji's second feature film after «Redemption Day». Before directing, Hajji gained industry experience working as a second assistant director in Morocco and later founded H Films, which serves international productions filming in Morocco.
Hajji divides his time between Morocco and Hollywood, bringing foreign productions to shoot in his home country while creating films for international audiences.
