Humane Society at full capacity; offering $100 off dog adoption fees
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Humane Society of Greater Dayton has reached full capacity.
To try and clear its spaces, the organization is offering $100 off of dog adoption fees, as well as a free toy for all adopted dogs.
Brian Weltge, president & CEO of HGSD, said although the shelter is full, that doesn't stop the organization's mission of providing the animal with 'a chance at a happy, healthy life.'
'This Easter, we hope families in our community will consider opening their hearts and homes to a dog in need,' Weltge said. 'There's no better time to welcome a new best friend.'
You are encouraged to visit 1661 Nicholas Road in Dayton to fill out an adoption application.
HSGD's offer runs through April 19.
