Godzilla rumors spark frenzy as Fortnite Creative could host the Kaiju icon

Image via Epic Games Fortnite's Creative mode might be heading for a monster-sized shake-up. According to fresh leaks circulating on social media, the iconic kaiju Godzilla could soon make his way into the Fortnite universe once again - this time through Creative mode, where player imagination runs wild. The speculation began when popular leaker @HYPEX tweeted, 'GODZILLA SEEMS TO BE COMING TO FORTNITE CREATIVE!!', triggering a wave of excitement, skepticism, and nostalgia among the community. While Epic Games has yet to confirm the development officially, history suggests that leaks of this nature often precede real additions. How this iconic monster might shake up Fortnite again Godzilla previously stomped into Fortnite during Chapter 6 Season 1, where players briefly experienced life as the towering beast. The in-game version of Godzilla allowed users to demolish structures, attack players, and use its trademark atomic breath. Now, if rumors are to be believed, players could soon gain access to similar gameplay elements in Creative mode, enabling them to integrate Godzilla into custom maps and mini-games. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like No.1 Swing Trading Strategy Revealed by Mr. Hemant – Free Access! One user commented, 'Recycled collabs, give us new stuff,' while another added, 'Gonna need a bigger storm circle,' imagining the chaos Godzilla would bring. Still, there's plenty of enthusiasm. Some players are already brainstorming ideas, like incorporating Godzilla into Red vs Blue game modes or designing large-scale kaiju battles. Many fans have also noted that if the Godzilla collaboration becomes available in Creative, it could mark a new chapter for user-generated content. One X user praised the move, saying, 'At least they're finally adding collab stuff to Creative.' This suggests Epic Games may be planning to let players use more iconic IPs within their custom maps - a long-requested feature. Godzilla isn't the only character making noise in Fortnite lately. The game is currently in the midst of a Star Wars-themed mini-season titled Galactic Battle, featuring Darth Vader, Mace Windu, and even Jar Jar Binks. Meanwhile, new features like the 'surrender' option in Ballistic mode show Epic's continued focus on gameplay tweaks and quality-of-life updates. While Godzilla's Creative debut is still unconfirmed, the buzz surrounding the leak shows how invested the Fortnite community remains. Whether it's the thrill of towering destruction or the excitement of collaborative design, the possible return of the King of Monsters has fans watching the horizon closely.

Fortnite leaks hint at 'Glider release' feature for quicker landings

Fortnite players may soon get a new way to drop into battle, thanks to a leaked feature that could significantly change early-game strategies. According to several reliable sources in the Fortnite community, Epic Games is testing a 'Glider Release' mechanic, allowing players to cut their glider mid-air and hit the ground faster than ever before. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now The information, first leaked by well-known Fortnite data miner @Wensoing and later confirmed by @HYPEX on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), has sparked discussions among fans and competitive players alike. What is the Glider release mechanic? As it stands, players in Fortnite are required to glide a fixed distance before hitting the ground. The glider automatically opens once they reach a certain height, which helps prevent fall damage but often slows down landings significantly. The Glider Release mechanic appears to change that. According to leaks, players will be able to manually open - and then release, their glider during descent. This gives them more control over landing speed and location, but also introduces the threat of fall damage if they drop from too high. The mechanic could introduce a new skill gap, rewarding experienced players who can calculate the optimal point to release their glider and land without damage. Potential impact on competitive and casual matches Early landings are a key part of Fortnite, especially in competitive modes where getting to high-value loot areas first can decide the outcome of a match. With Glider Releasing, players might reach the ground much faster, helping them grab weapons and secure positions before anyone else. Some leaks suggest that landing in water will negate fall damage, something already seen in other parts of the game. This could lead to new strategies, such as aiming for lakes or rivers to land safely while descending at full speed. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now However, the community has also expressed concern. If players can drop too quickly, there's a chance it could unbalance the game, especially in competitive play. Some fans worry about exploits, like diving from maximum height to beat other players to the ground every time. For now, the Glider Release mechanic remains just a leak, nothing has been officially announced by Epic Games. But with multiple reputable insiders discussing it, there's a good chance we may see it tested or introduced in a future update. Whether it adds more excitement or causes gameplay issues, one thing is clear - Fortnite may be getting a fresh twist to how matches begin.
