Hadiyah Targets 170,000 Iftar Meals for Ramadan Travelers in Jeddah, Makkah
The Haji and Mu'tamer's Gift Charity Association 'Hadiyah' has set an ambitious goal to distribute 170,000 iftar meals during Ramadan. These meals will be given out at Jeddah's King Abdulaziz International Airport and Makkah's Haramain High-Speed Railway Station. Notably, Hadiyah has allocated over 90,000 iftar meals for pilgrims arriving at these locations. The meals will be distributed in the airport lounge and the pilgrims' lounge in Jeddah. Additionally, meals will be provided at the train station before the Maghrib call to prayer, ensuring timely delivery to the pilgrims. Collaborative Effort Engineer Bandar Al-Maarik, a member of Hadiyah's Board of Directors, emphasized the campaign's collaborative nature, highlighting partnerships with King Abdulaziz Airport and Haramain Train Station management. He stated that they aim to serve pilgrims efficiently, especially during the Holy month's final days when visitor numbers surge. Al-Maarik added that many pilgrims and travelers arrive at the airport just before Maghrib as their buses head to the Holy Mosque during the call to prayer. Therefore, the association ensures that iftar meals are available in the airport lounges which guarantees comfort and enables pilgrims to break their fast before departing for the Holy Mosque. Reflecting Values of Hospitality This initiative is part of Hadiyah's ongoing efforts to serve the guests of Allah. It aims to provide support professionally and with high quality. This reflects the values of hospitality and generosity during the blessed month of Ramadan. Hadiyah's dedication to serving pilgrims highlights its commitment to upholding Islamic values. The association's efforts ensure that visitors experience comfort and care during their spiritual journey. Short link : Post Views: 2
