Rhos: Family-fun event for 80th VE Day celebrations
The completely free event will take place in Rhosllanerchrugog at the Hafod Colliery Social Club on Broad Street on Saturday, May 3.
Like every year, it aims to commemorate the significant historical anniversary since the Europe Victory.
Everyone is welcome to attend between with a fantastic array of activities to keep young ones entertained between 12.30pm and 6pm, including a BBQ, games, fun fair rides, bouncy castle and stalls.
Then, between 6pm and 11.30pm, the celebrations will continue for the adults with a cash bingo, open bar and live singer Dom Henderson who will perform from 9pm.

A special invitation is extended to all veterans that wish to attend.
Local company Yellow Cars have offered to provide transport to and from the gathering, also free of charge.
Victory in Europe Day, also referred to as VE Day, was first celebrated on May 8, 1945 and commemorates the formal surrender, concluding the end of the war in Europe.
