CPE Is Said to Near Sale of Haircare Chain Hairology to Kidswant
Beijing-based private equity firm CPE is close to finalizing an agreement to sell hair treatment chain Zhuhai Hairology Spa Corp. to Kidswant Children Products Co., according to people familiar with the situation.
Kidswant emerged as the frontrunner in a bidding process for the Chinese firm, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing a private matter. A sale of Hairology could fetch between $200 million and $300 million, they said, adding that an agreement could be announced as soon as the coming days.
