Evanescence and K.Flay announce Ballerina end-title song Fight Like A Girl
Evanescence have teamed up with on the track 'Fight Like A Girl', the first end-title song in the John Wick film 'Ballerina'. After frontwoman Amy Lee and Halsey dropped the original song 'Hand That Feeds' from the hotly awaited flick, the 'Bring Me To Life' group have joined forces with alternative star on a song they co-wrote with Dylan Eiland and Ballerina film composer Tyler Bates. A description of the song reads: "Fuelled by fierce energy and defiance, Fight Like A Girl channels the film's themes of vengeance, resilience, and female empowerment, mirroring its adrenaline-pumping intensity and emotional depth." Both 'Fight Like A Girl' and 'Ballerina' are released on June 6. Amy Lee said: 'Tyler calling me up to create this song for Ballerina couldn't have come at a more perfect time, I know I'm not the only girl out there ready to dig my heels in and show the world what we're made of. 'I really wanted this song to be a collab, and is one of my favourite artists. It is literally a dream come true to do this together!' Grammy-nominated casually penned her verse backstage after a concert while her "adrenaline was still super high". She added: 'Amy sent me the demo and I was immediately so energised, so inspired. I was on tour at the time, and I wrote my verse backstage after a show, when my adrenaline was still super high. For me, the film and the song are both about how we channel our pain and how we choose to define ourselves. What separates the hero from the villain?' Taking place during the events of 'John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum', 'Ballerina' follows Eve Macarro (Ana de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma.

‘Americana' Trailer: See Sydney Sweeney, Halsey Scramble to Steal Native American Artifact
Chaos ensues in the trailer for Americana when a bunch of poor white people scramble to filch a 'Lakota Indian ghost shirt,' as the only rich character describes it, and sell it for half a million dollars. The film stars Sydney Sweeney, Paul Walter Hauser, Halsey, Eric Dane, and Zahn McClarnon and will hit theaters on Aug. 22. In the clip, Sweeney's character proclaims that if she had a million dollars, she'd go to Nashville to sing country music. 'What other music is there?' she gasps. To get her on her way, her enterprising beau (Hauser) concocts a plan to steal the garment, which he hears about from a trio of more enterprising men, led by Dane, who loudly exclaim they also want to steal it at a highway rest stop. So, of course, one of them steals it, somehow Halsey gets involved, and her son (or other young relative) decides he's not having any of it because, 'My home is here in the great spirit.' 'Have you seen an old Indian shirt?' he asks. 'The white woman has it,' the kid says, meaning Halsey. 'I am the reincarnation of Sitting Bull,' he declaims. 'C'mon, kid,' McClarnon replies. 'This ain't exactly the golden age of cultural appropriation right now.' And the kid deadpans a rejoinder: 'I remember more horses in my day.' The film premiered at South by Southwest in 2023. Halsey, Evanescence's Amy Lee Join Forces for New Song "Hand That Feeds" for "Ballerina" Movie: Stream
Yara Sameh Halsey and Amy Lee of Evanescence have teamed up for the thundering pop single, 'Hand That Feeds' for "Ballerina", a forthcoming film set in the John Wick universe. Haunting and cinematic, the impassioned was released on Friday and matches the intensity of the June-slated film as the two musicians harmonize with one another. 'Too late 'cause you know you can't turn around and bite the hand that feeds,' they sing over eerie piano and siren-like drones, as first heard by fans in a snippet sent out by the 'Without Me' musician in a text blast a few days prior. "Ballerina" is in theaters June 6 and stars Ana de Armas, Norman Reedus, Ian McShane, Keanu Reeves, Anjelica Huston, Gabriel Byrne, Lance Reddick, and Catalina Sandino Moreno. It takes place during the events of "John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum", and follows Eve Macarro (de Armas) who is beginning her training in the assassin traditions of the Ruska Roma. The 'Hand That Feeds' duo first announced that the collaboration was in the works just three days prior to its release, simply sharing a promotional photo — featuring Halsey and the 'My Immortal' vocalist reaching for each other across a platform on a dimly lit stage — in a joint post on Instagram. The team-up is a long time coming considering the 'Closer' artist's almost lifelong fandom of Evanescence, which manifested in Halsey cosplaying Lee during the rollout of 2024 album "The Great Impersonator". 'Yes, I am freaking out about it,' Halsey wrote of collaborating with her idol in a recent text message to fans. 'Hand That Feeds' marks the About-Face Beauty founder's first release since February's 'Safeword.' Evanescence last dropped music in March, releasing 'Afterlife' for the Netflix series "Devil May Cry". Halsey will kick off her My Last Trick tour in Concord, California on Saturday. The trek will run for 32 dates through July. Evanescence will appear for a special guest performance at her Hollywood Bowl show on May 14. The musician will also be joined on select dates by Del Water Gap, the Warning, Alvvays, Hope Tala, Sir Chloe, Royel Otis, Flowerovlove, Magdalena Bay, and Alemeda. The singer teased the tour during an appearance on The Tonight Show in February. 'I really like putting on a big show,' Halsey told host Jimmy Fallon what fans can expect. 'I think people are usually pretty surprised when they come to see me in concert, especially if they only know me for the songs on the radio. The show can be quite, like, aggressive. Like, I'm like a little demon. I get out there and have to exorcise some stuff.' read more New Tourism Route To Launch in Old Cairo Ahmed El Sakka-Led Play 'Sayidati Al Jamila' to Be Staged in KSA on Dec. 6 Mandy Moore Joins Season 2 of "Dr. Death" Anthology Series Don't Miss These Movies at 44th Cairo Int'l Film Festival Today Amr Diab to Headline KSA's MDLBEAST Soundstorm 2022 Festival Arts & Culture Mai Omar Stuns in Latest Instagram Photos Arts & Culture "The Flash" to End with Season 9 Arts & Culture Ministry of Culture Organizes four day Children's Film Festival Arts & Culture Canadian PM wishes Muslims Eid-al-Adha News Egypt confirms denial of airspace access to US B-52 bombers Lifestyle Pistachio and Raspberry Cheesecake Domes Recipe News Ayat Khaddoura's Final Video Captures Bombardment of Beit Lahia News Australia Fines Telegram $600,000 Over Terrorism, Child Abuse Content Arts & Culture Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's $4.7M LA Home Burglarized Sports Former Al Zamalek Player Ibrahim Shika Passes away after Long Battle with Cancer Videos & Features Bouchra Dahlab Crowned Miss Arab World 2025 .. Halsey released her fifth studio LP, The Great Impersonator, in October, while Evanescence's last full-length studio album, The Bitter Truth, arrived in 2021. Halsey joins forces with Evanescence singer Amy Lee for new song Hand That Feeds
Halsey and Amy Lee have joined forces for a new song. The 30-year-old singer and Evanescence star. 43, have admired each other "for a long time", and they've collaborated on 'Hand That Feeds' for the new 'John Wick' spin-off movie 'Ballerina'. Writing on X, Amy said: "So thrilled to be you a new song, 'Hand That Feeds', with @halsey THIS FRIDAY! "We've been fans of each other's work for a long time and it really feels like the universe pulled us together for this moment." The song will be out on Friday (09.05.25), just days before the 'Bring Me To Life' rockers open for Halsey at the Hollywood Bowl on May 14. Amy continued: "We already had the Hollywood Bowl show in place when @Lionsgate invited us to work on a song for the @ballerinamovie together, and it's finally time to serve it UP! "Cannot wait for you all to hear!! (sic)" Last year, Halsey dropped her fifth album 'The Great Impersonator', after telling fans she initially thought it could be her final record. A fan asked: "Is this era like manic and have mixed genres? Or more cohesive??' Halsey answered: 'All over the place. When I started writing it, I thought it might be the last album I ever got the chance to make. so I tried to do whatever I'd been wanting to do, but hadn't tried yet.' The pop star has been living with multiple health challenges the past few years, including lupus and endometriosis, and there are songs on the LP which document those challenges. She continued: "I wrote a lot about what I was going through. I felt like I couldn't tell anyone, though it was mostly my choice to not. But the weight of it all and looking at my life wondering if I was happy with who I was. While simultaneously changing against my will. more on that later lol.' Meanwhile, Evanescence - who dropped new single 'Afterlife' from Netflix's animated 'Devil May Cry' series in March - will be hitting the road supporting My Chemical Romance and Metallica this year. Their last album was 2021's 'The Bitter Truth', which Amy previously described as "very cathartic". Back in 2022, she told NME: "It was so good for our souls. We had so much to say and talk about."
