By cooperating with specialized partners such as Wrth, the agreement aims at launching educational and training programs that contribute to preserving the authenticity of Saudi crafts. As part of Aseer Development Authority, the deal will play a pivotal role in achieving comprehensive development based on both authenticity and nature. Farasan Craftswomen have set a role model for women's struggle to meet the needs of daily living since ancient times, according to the Saudi Press Agency. These brilliant women have produced magnificent handicrafts and artistic works that were once a source of livelihood and have now become a major element of cultural and tourist festivals. Craftswomen Farasan's local marine environment provided women with an opportunity to transform seashells and snails into exquisite jewelry, ornaments, bags, and sculptures. These stunning artworks crystalize the unparalleled beauty of the Farasan coast. Apart from this, they also use palm fronds and doum palm trees and weave them into practical items such as prayer rugs, fans, and baskets.
