(KCAU) – Huskers ace Jordy Bahl struck out six batters in a complete-game effort, adding one hit and a pair of runs at the plate to guide Nebraska past seventh-seeded Tennessee in the opening game of its best-of-three NCAA Tournament Super Regional. Nebraska scored the go-ahead run in the top of the third to take a 2-1 lead, following that up with a trio of runs in the top of the fourth to ultimately keep the game out of reach. Hannah Camenzind notched her tenth home run of the season to cap off the three-run frame in the top of the fourth.
