Pupils at a school have raised more than £11,500 for a homelessness charity. Bryanston School, in Blandford, raised the funds for YMCA Bournemouth through various student-led initiatives. These included the annual Whole School Walk and a Sleep Out event. The fundraising initiative commenced on Sunday, April 27, with the Whole School Walk, a 10km route through the school's woodland and Dorset countryside. This traditional event united pupils, staff, Old Bryanstonians and families in a community spirited effort. A Year 12 pupil encouraged classmates to run the course for sponsorship, raising more than £5,600.
