Sean 'Diddy' Combs' Throwback Party Pics With Britney Spears Resurface Amid His Sex Trial

As Sean 'Diddy' Combs undergoes trial in the sex case, throwback photos of Britney Spears partying with the rapper in Las Vegas on September 7, 2007, have emerged. According to Page Six, the Criminal singer spent the night partying with Diddy just before her heavily criticised performance at the 2007 MTV Video Music Awards. Later that evening, Spears joined Diddy, Paris Hilton, and rapper-actor 50 Cent at another event at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The party, hosted by 50 Cent, reportedly continued into the early hours of September 8. However, it remains unclear when Spears left the gathering. Ventura testified in court on May 15, revealing that her relationship with Diddy 'sort of" began in September 2007, during her 21st birthday celebration in Las Vegas. 'Sean was there, and he brought Dallas Austin, Britney Spears. I think those were the two people that stand out to me," she said. Two days after the night out, on September 9, 2007, Spears performed 'Gimme More' at the MTV VMAs. Though intended as a comeback, the performance was widely criticised for lackluster choreography and poor lip-syncing. In her memoir, The Woman in Me, Spears recounted that things were falling apart before the show even began. 'There was a problem with my costume and with my hair extensions," she wrote, adding, 'I hadn't slept the night before. I was dizzy." She also revealed an unexpected backstage encounter with ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, whom she had dated from 1999 to 2002. 'It had been a while since I'd seen him," Spears recalled, adding 'I couldn't believe I was going to have to go out onstage feeling the way I felt." At that time, Britney Spears was also under intense public scrutiny following her divorce from Kevin Federline and her widely publicised head-shaving incident earlier that year.

(AP Photo/Adrian Kraus) EAGAN, Minn. (AP) — The reigning NFL MVP will be a featured attraction this season on the league's training camp documentary, with the Buffalo Bills making their first appearance on 'Hard Knocks.' The New York Giants will get another shot, too, after their uncomfortable debut. Advertisement The NFL announced Wednesday at the spring owners meetings that the Bills, led by quarterback Josh Allen, were selected for the behind-the-scenes show on HBO that's in its 25th year. The five-part series will air on Tuesdays beginning on Aug. 5. The NFC East was also picked as the featured division on the in-season show, with filming of the Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Commanders and defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles set to air in December. The league reached a new multi-year deal with HBO to continue to broadcast the show. The Bills, who hold their training camp off-site at St. John Fisher University outside of Rochester, New York, have entered their ninth year under head coach Sean McDermott. Still seeking their first championship, having not appeared in the Super Bowl since their fourth consecutive loss following the 1993 season, the Bills have won five straight AFC East titles and qualified for the playoffs in seven of the past eight years. Allen has been a driver of that success, entering his eighth season and coming off his first MVP award. The Bills return a majority of their offense from a team that finished second in the NFL in scoring in the 2024 season. They retooled their defense, starting with the addition in free agency of edge rusher Joey Bosa. Advertisement The NFL revamped its rules last year around 'Hard Knocks' appearances, previously allowing teams that made the playoffs within the previous two seasons to decline to participate. Such an opt-out is no longer an option. Teams now ineligible for selection include those with a first-year head coach, those that have appeared on the training camp version of the show in the past eight seasons, and those picked for the in-season version focusing on one division. The Chicago Bears were a first-time 'Hard Knocks' participant last season during training camp. HBO and co-producer NFL Films last year added the in-season show, filming around the four AFC North teams, and an offseason version that premiered — and perhaps ended — with a focus on the Giants. The awkward goodbye between running back Saquon Barkley and general manager Joe Schoen was a prominent part of that series, which has so far not been renewed. Barkley, who signed with the rival Eagles and went on to win the Super Bowl, later complained that his side of the conversation with Schoen was recorded and aired without his consent. Advertisement Schoen's informing Barkley that the Giants would not make him a contract offer or put the franchise tag on him and thus let him become a free agent became a must-see scene, along with a pained reaction from owner John Mara about losing a popular player. ___ AP NFL:

Vancouver duo Vox Rea releases its latest album, The Art Oracles Songbook, this weekend. This is the second full-length record from the group comprised of sisters Kate and Lauren Kurdyak, and the third recording from the siblings to come out on 604 Records. The duo first gained attention while still in secondary school with a trio called The Katherines. Get top headlines and gossip from the world of celebrity and entertainment. The record saw the group's music getting over one million streams on Spotify and generated some 'girl band' buzz. Like many young acts, The Katherines ran its course. The Kurdyak siblings took a hiatus to study philosophy at the now defunct Quest University Canada in Squamish. While pursuing their degrees, they conceived of a new creative identity far removed from the indie-pop their previous band was grounded in. 'Stepping back is scary at times, as you never know about taking those periods of time away,' said Kate. 'But you need those breaks to come back and do something different and keep evolving. COVID was kind of an awesome period to force us to reimagine things moving forward.' Vox Rea tracks, such as the recent singles Hard and One Kiss, expand on the more electronic direction hinted on the duo's 2022 debut album. Along with the new sound, the band is keeping new company, opening for EDM stars such as Felix Cartal. 'After steady touring playing a mix of acoustic and band gigs, we are doing an intentional genre shift,' said Kate Kurdyak. 'Some of our favourite shows have been the electronic ones, and that has led to us try to start dancing in both indie rock and EDM scenes. It's a little more fun, and feasible, since we can tour as a duo.' Reimagining its past band-oriented songs in a backing track-based setting led the two to pen new tunes favouring synth-laden orchestration and clear beats on Art Oracles Songbook. The 13 new songs on the album were all written by the Kurdyak sisters, with contributions from Kate Gillespie, Kaitlyn Hansen-Boucher and Mitchell Hyland Schaumberg. Both Hansen-Boucher and Schaumberg were also in The Katherines lineup. The Montreal team of Tim Buron and Connor Seidel, whose past credits include Juno-winning singer Charlotte Cardin, Bobby Bazini and Half Moon Run, were in the production chair. 'The new direction allows us to have a much more full-bodied experience, incorporating visuals and more into the show,' said Lauren Kurdyak. 'That visceral, full-body experience of the booming sub-bass is a new thing. The show we are developing will be the one that goes with us to the festivals we are doing this summer.' It seems unsurprising that, with a more cinematic style, the group has also leaned heavily into extended-form videos. The 2023 track The Beast arrived as a short film running nearly 10 minutes long. 'We originally wanted to integrate a bunch of songs into a much more expanded take on the last album, and kind of took off and played,' said Lauren. 'It was fun to do with the videographer that we regularly work with.' While the 2022 debut generated a host of videos and a lot of touring material written over a long period of time, heading back into the studio for the new album was largely the product of time spent at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Everything from the title to the flow of the track sequencing was born from the experience. 'There is a library at the Banff Centre where you can take out all kinds of materials to inspire you creatively,' said Lauren. 'One of the things was a Tarot deck called Art Oracles with quotes from different poets and philosophers on the cards. We had that in our studio and it just sort of became a really big theme for this new record, which is where the title came from.' Vox Rea is presently on tour in the U.K. and Germany. A busy summer looms, with festival appearances and a fall tour in the planning stages. In the meantime, local fans can celebrate the release in town on June 20 at the Freakout Circus Extravaganza at The Wise Hall in Vancouver. Tickets are on sale at . sderdeyn@
