Jr NTR joins Trivikram's mythological fantasy film, producer shares cryptic post
Director Trivikram Srinivas's mythological fantasy film has been in discussion ever since its initial announcement. Early reports suggested the film would feature Allu Arjun in the lead, but in a cryptic post shared on June 11, producer Naga Vamsi shared a hint about Jr NTR stepping into the role of Lord the post shared on X, Naga Vamsi captioned a Sanskrit verse with the line: 'My most favourite Anna as one of the most powerful gods.' The verse begins with the word Karthikeya, and notably, the word Skanda is underlined. Naga Vamsi has, on several occasions, expressed his admiration for Jr NTR, often referring to him as his 'favourite Anna (favourite brother)'. This post has fuelled speculation that NTR may now be headlining the the post:
The project, produced under the Harika & Haassine Creations banner, is pitched as a socio-mythological fantasy and was reportedly set to feature Arjun in the role of Lord Karthikeya. However, following the announcement of Allu Arjun's film with Atlee, there appears to be a significant shift in the casting plans, with NTR likely to take the film was initially conceived with Jr NTR before being offered to Allu Arjun and now, the makers are reportedly considering NTR once delivering the fan-favourite 'Guntur Kaaram' with Mahesh Babu, director Trivikram Srinivas has not officially announced his next film. Reports about potential collaborations with Venkatesh and Ram Charan have surfaced online. A light-hearted family entertainer, packed with feel-good music and humour, was reportedly the plan before moving on to this pan-India mythological Jr NTR is currently involved in dubbing for his Bollywood debut 'War 2', in which he stars opposite Hrithik Roshan, and is also shooting for his next with director Prashanth Neel, reportedly titled 'Dragon'. At a recent event, NTR also hinted at another film under the Sithara Entertainments banner, reportedly directed by Nelson Dilipkumar.
