Woman, 30, critically injured in San Diego motorcycle crash
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A 30-year-old woman is fighting for her life after crashing her motorcycle in the Midway District on Wednesday, authorities said.
According to the San Diego Police Department, the incident occurred just before 6 a.m. in 4100 block of Pacific Highway.
For reasons unknown, police said the woman was riding a 2000 Harley Davidson Sportster Motorcycle southbound when she lost control and crashed.
No other vehicles were involved in the traffic accident.
The woman was transported to a local hospital by first responders, where she was treated for abrasions and a brain bleed that required surgery. According to authorities, her injuries are considered life-threatening.
