Shots fired near University graduation
ST. LOUIS – Gunfire was reported near Harris-Stowe University's commencement around 4 p.m. Friday.
St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) issued a statement in response to the incident.
According to them, multiple suspects allegedly opened fire on a car in a parking lot that was close to the school. No injuries in relation to the shooting were reported.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the event, and SLPS is working with police.
The incident remains ongoing.
