CBSE Class X: Harshbir Singh tops Mohali district with 99.6%
Mohali: In a stellar performance in CBSE Class X exams, boys clinched first and third positions in Mohali.

A resident of Kharar, Harshbir aspires to become an engineer. Notably, he achieved this feat without any private tuition, relying solely on disciplined self-study for three to four hours daily in addition to regular school hours.

Armeet, too, plans to pursue engineering. She attributes her success to the unwavering support of her teachers, parents, and especially her grandmother, Tarlochan Kaur, who helped her score a perfect 100 in Punjabi. Her father, Mandeep Singh, works at Sun Pharma, and her mother, Japsimran Kaur, teaches at a private school. Armeet, who has been passionate about painting and arts and crafts since nursery, has won several competitions.
"I studied day and night without tuitions. My family, especially my grandmother, played a big role," she shared.
, a student of Manav Mangal Smart School, secured the third position with 99.2% marks. He aims to pursue engineering from IIT Mumbai. Saket said that while he did not entirely avoid social media, he ensured his focus remained on studies. He maintained a consistent three-hour daily study schedule, increasing it to six hours closer to the board exams. With the guidance of his teachers and support from his parents, Saket achieved his goal.
"I was confident I would score above 99%," he said.
