Hartford Athletic is 1-4-0 to begin its season in the USL Championship, 11th in the 12-team Eastern Conference. It hosts the Portland Hearts of Pine, playing their first season in the lower-level USL League One, on Saturday in the opening match of the annual USL Cup.
The Revolution (3-4-1) sit 11th in the MLS Eastern Conference, but have won three of their last four. They visit East-leading Charlotte FC, which has a spotless 5-0-0 record at Bank of America Stadium this season, on Saturday night.
