Aussies left shocked over discovery on household fav snack
Australians have been left shocked after a jaw-dropping revelation over a cult-favourite snack mislead some into thinking they were eating a healthy treat.
Tiktoker or Nia, sparked conversation after taking to the social media with her discovery about household favourite snack, Harvest Snaps Baked Pea Crisps.
The Australian said she thought the snack was a dehydrated pea and prefaced the rant by saying 'I'm about to be called the dumbest woman alive'.

'These yummy snacks that I've been eating for years...I ate these for so many years,' she said.
'It wasn't until last year I found out that these aren't dehydrated peas, they're just shaped as peas.
'Like come on, is (the packaging) not an indication it's a dehydrated peas.

The video blew up with just under 400,000 views and people were quick to flood the comments echoing her disbelief.
'HUH I thought I was eating VEGETABLES,' one person commented.
'Wait. I sent these with my kids to school smug AF thinking I had cracked some smug healthy parent code. Instead I was just sending them with chips like damn Pringles,' a shocked viewer wrote.
'OMG I feel lied to I thought it was a pea-pod,' one replied.
'I honestly just assumed the same also… I'm now shook,' another said.
Although not everyone shared her sentiment.
'It hadn't even occurred to me people might think these are dried pea pods not pea pod shaped chips,' one comment said.

While not being a dehydrated vegetable, the crisp lists the ingredients as 68 per cent green pea, vegetable oil and rice, while earning a five star health rating
On another video from the user, Harvest Snaps account commented: 'We start with whole green peas (we mill it in house), then we form them into fun pod shapes and bake it for the perfect crunch! You'll find that veggies are listed as our very 1st ingredient.'
