Taco Bell coming to Town of Chenango
TOWN OF CHENANGO, N.Y. (WIVT/WBGH) – Taco Bell fans will have a new place to live mas.
The Town of Chenango has approved plans for the popular fast food chain to build a new location at the site of the former Hess gas station on Upper Front Street.
The plan is to demolish the existing building and then build new.
Town officials say the underground gas tanks have already been removed from the property.
No word on whether the development will impact the old pet cemetery located behind it.
And town officials say the franchisee Haza Bell hasn't provided a timeline yet on when demolition and construction will begin.
News 34 reached out to Haza for comment but did not receive a reply.
