officially began today as Hazra Park Durgotsab performed its traditional khuti puja at Jatin Das Park (Hazra crossing), marking the start of preparations for its 83rd year of celebrations.
Renowned for its avant-garde pandals and socially conscious themes, Hazra Park Durgotsab continues to be one of the city's most anticipated Puja destinations. This year's Khuti Puja was graced by several dignitaries including actress

. The rhythmic beats of dhaks added to the festive fervour, heralding the season's onset with traditional grandeur.
'This year, we aim not only to innovate but to inspire,' said Sayan Deb Chatterjee, joint secretary of Hazra Park Durgotsab Committee.
