Kerri Miller, nursery manager at Heads of Ayr Nursery, said: 'We are absolutely delighted and deeply honoured to have won the Day Nurseries Award for 2025— our third consecutive year receiving this recognition. This award means the world to us because it reflects everything we believe in: a child-led, outdoor-based approach that allows little ones to thrive in nature, explore freely, and grow with confidence.
'It's also a powerful testament to our incredible team. Our staff work tirelessly, in all weathers, to create magical, safe, and enriching experiences for the children in our care. Their dedication, creativity, and passion for early years education are what make Heads of Ayr Nursery so special—this award belongs to them as much as to the nursery itself.'
Amanda Hopkins, reviews manager of said: 'We would like to congratulate Heads of Ayr Nursery on being rated by parents as a top nursery in Scotland! It is a huge achievement to be rated so highly by the families and carers of children that attend the setting.
'Our award is valuable recognition from parents and carers that this nursery is giving their children an excellent standard of care and a nurturing environment. A good early years education can really help boost a child's development and hopefully create in them a lifelong love of learning.
