If signed into law, House Bill 15 would create the Health Care Strategic Recruitment Program. That program would recruit graduates of New Mexico's colleges with a healthcare degree to not move away. It would do so by helping graduates find housing, jobs and give them information on benefits the state offer such as no-cost childcare and free higher education. The bill is now scheduled for introduction in the state Senate.
