ALDI to open new store in Amite
AMITE, La. (WGNO) — A new ALDI is set to open in Amite this month. According to a news release, the Amite ALDI will be located inside the former Winn-Dixie at 804 W Oak Street and offer a variety of organic meats, produce, seafood, cheese, wine and more. The grocery chain also offers seasonal products, 'limited-time ALDI finds' and curbside pickup options. 'As shoppers look for ways to stretch their dollars further, our new ALDI store will deliver the Amite community affordable, quality groceries, a quick, easy shopping experience, shelves stocked with only the best products and on-trend ALDI Finds,' said Heather Moore, Loxley vice president for ALDI. New ALDI store in Zachary set to open this spring
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The location of a Winn-Dixie store converted into a new ALDI store in Zachary could open by the spring. Loxley Division Vice President Heather Moore confirmed the store is expected to open later this spring. The Winn-Dixie closed in November for renovations. A group of private investors have acquired Southeastern Grocers, the parent company of Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket. They bought it from ALDI U.S., which had purchased Southeastern Grocers in March 2024. According to a news release, ALDI plans to convert about 220 Winn-Dixie and Harveys Supermarket stores to the ALDI format. This multi-year process started in March 2024 and should finish by 2027. SEG will keep running the stores marked for conversion until they are ready for change. First Aldi store coming to Panama City Beach
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) – Aldi one of America's fastest-growing retailers is set to open in Panama City Beach in February. Aldi will offer Panama City Beach residents affordable food and more at great prices as it opens its newly converted store at 23200 Front Beach Road. The store opens on Thursday, Febuary 20 at 9 a.m. and will open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Oldest Baptist church in Florida turns 200 next month The store will offer fresh, organic produce delivered daily, in addition to convenient access to curbside pickup and grocery delivery options.
