BDB Launches Third Edition of Leadership Development Programme

Bahrain Development Bank (BDB), the Kingdom's leading bank in supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs), has announced the launch of the third edition of its Leadership Development Programme. Organised in collaboration with the Institute of Public Administration (BIPA), the three-month programme aims to enhance the efficiency of the Bank's leadership. leadership capabilities of the Bank's high-performing employees. The initiative reflects BDB's ongoing efforts to cultivate a new generation of leaders equipped with strategic foresight and strong executive acumen. Twenty selected employees will take part in a series of intensive workshops centring around strategic problem-solving, project management, and leadership development in the workplace. Through this programme, participants will be equipped with practical tools and techniques to enhance their effectiveness in leadership roles, directly influencing team performance and contributing to the delivery of high-quality services at BDB. Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Hend Mahmood, Chief Human Resources Officer at BDB, stated, 'We believe that investing in human capital is central to sustainable success. This programme reinforces our commitment to developing the leadership potential of our people, which is instrumental in strengthening BDB's position as a key enabler of SME growth in Bahrain.' She further added, 'Our people are the driving force behind our progress.
