Man receives life-threatening injuries in single-vehicle crash near Benson, Minnesota
May 24---- An 89-year-old man received life-threatening injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 29 north of Benson at 8:57 a.m. Saturday. The man was transported to CentraCare — St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.

a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling southbound on Highway 29 when the vehicle went off the road into the lefthand ditch, where it struck an embankment and vaulted.
The driver, Keith William Hein, of Montevideo, received life-threatening injuries from the incident.
The airbags did deploy, and Hein was wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident, according to the Minnesota State Patrol report.
According to the report, responding agencies included Swift County Sheriff's Office, Benson Police Department, Lifelink, Benson Fire Department and CentraCare Ambulance.
