Glasgow city centre road to close for 2 months tomorrow
Part of North Hanover Street will be shut for the Kyle Street/North Hanover Street Avenue Project.
This includes updating the streets with new paving, granite kerbs, rain gardens, and cycle paths where needed.
The aim is to make the area more "people-friendly," appealing, and economically active.
To carry out the work, a partial road closure will be necessary at the crossroads of Baird Street and Kyle Street.
A signed diversion will be set up throughout the work period.
The closure will start on Tuesday, June 3, at 6am and is expected to last until Friday, August 8, at 5pm.
For more details about the closure, contact Brian Coyle from Glasgow City Council at or Liam Shepherd from Hillhouse Group on 0141 887 9109.
