CM to inaugurate development projects worth Rs 650 crore in Hangal today

informed that
CM Siddaramaiah
will inaugurate various development works worth Rs 650 crore in the Hangal assembly segment on May 4. The event will be held at APMC Akkialur.
Speaking to reporters recently, he mentioned that the event will take place at 11am on the scheduled day. Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, energy minister KJ George, PWD minister Satish Jarkiholi, RDPR minister Priyank Kharge, minor irrigation minister NS Boseraju, district minister Shivanand Patil, alongside other govt ministers, six district MLAs, and public representatives will accompany the CM.
He further stated that the
Balambid lift Irrigation project
's estimate and DPR were prepared and received cabinet approval in 2018-19, during DK Shivakumar's tenure as water resources minister. Although progress decreased following governmental changes, the project is now complete under the Congress administration. Projects totalling Rs 615 crore will be inaugurated, including the Balambid lift Irrigation project, Hirekoumshi lift Irrigation project, Hanagal govt office complex, Akkialur tourist lodge, Balambid 11KV power grid, Hanagal APMC warehouse, and additional facilities at Akkialur APMC.
"Additionally, various projects worth Rs 35 crore will have their foundation stones laid. District workers are encouraged to participate extensively to ensure the programme's success," Mane appealed.
