Singers Demi Lovato and Jordan Lutes wed after three years together
American singer-actress Demi Lovato has tied the knot with her fiance, Canadian singer-songwriter Jordan 'Jutes' Lutes.
The wedding took place took place in Santa Barbara, California, at around 4pm on May 25, according to Vogue magazine, which first reported the news.
Lovato, 32, wore a pearl-white Vivienne Westwood dress while Lutes, 34, wore a Saint Laurent suit. Lovato also wore an ivory silk satin column dress, also by Vivienne Westwood, at the reception, said Vogue.
'When I was thinking about (what dress style I wanted) I often found myself coming back to Vivienne's designs – specifically how the silhouettes really compliment the curves in your body, and her use of corsets,' the former Disney Channel child star told the fashion magazine.
Lovato and Lutes met in January 2022 when they worked together on Lovato's eighth studio album Holy Fv** (2022). Lutes is credited as co-writer for the songs Substance, Happy Ending and City Of Angels from it.
They went public with their romance shortly before the album's release in August 2022, after they were photographed leaving a restaurant in New York together. They announced their engagement in December 2023.
Lovato told Teen Vogue digital magazine in September 2024 that she 'instantly had a crush' on Lutes soon after they met.
'I live and breathe for our connection,' Lovato said of her beau. 'Everything I do, I wish was with him. I see my future with him. I see growing old with him.'
Lovato, who is known for songs such as Heart Attack (2013) and Sorry Not Sorry (2017), gave a preview of her wedding on Feb 14.
'Jordan, I cannot wait to marry you,' she wrote, sharing 18 pictures of her photo shoot with Lutes. 'The past three years have been the best three years of my life and I have you to thank for that. I'm obsessed with your heart, your love and your light. I can't wait to grow old with you and start a family together.'
