In a statement, the Home Minister's Office confirmed the breach, adding that it has been reported to the authorities, who are currently investigating the incident. "In light of this, the public is urged to exercise caution and not to fall for messages or calls from individuals impersonating the minister, especially in cases involving financial matters or requesting appointments to meet. "We strongly advise members of the public not to be misled by fraudulent attempts to impersonate Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail," the statement said. The minister's office also expressed regret over the incident, describing the hacker's actions as irresponsible. It also called on the public to remain alert to online scams and to immediately report any suspicious activity involving impersonation or fraud to the authorities.
