Murder arrests after man found dead in Shipley
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a 43-year-old man was found dead at a property in were called to premises on Stead Street at about 09:30 BST on Tuesday after concerns were raised about a man's safety, according to West Yorkshire Police.A 64-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were arrested in connection with the discovery and remained in custody, a spokesperson said. A post-mortem examination would take place later, they added. The force spokesperson said: "While the investigation is in its early stages, extensive inquiries remain ongoing by the Homicide and Major Inquiry Team." Teenager seriously injured in shooting
An 18-year-old man has been seriously injured in a suspected targeted shooting in Bradford. West Yorkshire Police received reports just before 18:30 GMT on Sunday that the man had attended hospital with "injuries consistent with a firearms discharge". The victim remained in hospital, while a scene was in place on Dovesdale Road, police said. A 43-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and possession of a Class A drug. Det Insp Suzanne Hall from the Homicide and Major Inquiry Team said: "Firearms offences are treated exceptionally seriously in West Yorkshire and we are conducting a full investigation into this incident which we believe was a targeted attack."
