Rim and tire thefts on the rise in Waterbury: Police
WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) — Waterbury police say there's been a rise in rim and tire thefts across the city.
The thefts are targeting 2019 to 2024 Honda Accord Sport models, police said.

Do not leave wheel lock keys inside your vehicle
Use additional wheel locking devices
If you have a Ring camera or any home surveillance system, ensure it's active.
Police said thieves are breaking car windows to access wheel lock keys stored in the glove compartment overnight.
The thefts are under investigation.
