4-Star Safety Sends Message After Choosing Michigan Among 3 Finalists
The recruiting trail has heated up in recent weeks with several major college football programs working feverishly to fill up their Class of 2026 rosters.
The Michigan Wolverines are among them as coach Sherrone Moore's program has secured commitments from five prospects in the early going.

The Wolverines are a bit behind the 8-ball in terms of sheer numbers compared to rival programs like Ohio State, but are working to close the gap.
On Saturday, a four-star safety prospect from the Houston, Texas area's list of three favorite schools was announced, and Michigan is among them along with a pair of SEC powers.

"Four-Star Safety Chace Calicut is down to 3 Schools," On3.'s Hayes Fawcett wrote on X.
"The 6'3 195 S from Houston, TX has locked in OVs (official visits) to each of his finalists, Georgia (June 6-8), Michigan (June 13-15), Texas (June 20-22).

"What we doing?" Calicut asked his followers in a post along with a retweet.
"Home team," one respondent said with a 'Hook 'em Horns' hand gesture.

"Come on man, stay in Texas," another said with the same symbol.
Another posted a picture of a confident looking coach Moore, attempting to sway the Texas prospect.
Texas and Michigan fans showed out the most in an attempt to sway Calicut.
"Go Blue! Those who stay will be Champions!" another added.
