Selena Gomez Jumps Back To No. 1
Selena Gomez's latest album I Said I Love You First turned out to be something of a slight commercial disappointment when it arrived earlier this spring. The full-length — her first team-up with fiancé Benny Blanco — missed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 by just one space and has largely disappeared from the Billboard charts. The project itself is nowhere to be found, but several tunes featured on its tracklist remain popular in America. This week, one of them returns Gomez, Blanco, and another featured act to the No. 1 spot on a recently-introduced tally. Gomez, her fiancé, and the band The Marías are back in charge of the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart. The three musical acts return to the summit with "Ojos Tristes," which jumps from No. 2 to No. 1 this frame. "Ojos Tristes" has now spent seven weeks at No. 1 on the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart. The track has only lived on the tally for nine weeks — the entirety of the ranking's lifetime — as Billboard only introduced it alongside several other Latin lists earlier in 2025. The only other hit single to reach No. 1 on the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart is "Milagros" by Karol G. That tune soared to the top spot in its second frame and held there for two stays. Now, it has swapped spots with "Ojos Tristes," dipping to the runner-up space and making room once again for Gomez, Blanco, and The Marías to lead the charge. As it dominates the Hot Latin Pop Songs tally, "Ojos Tristes" is also still a winner on the Hot Latin Songs list. On that roster, the track reaches a milestone 10 weeks and holds at No. 21 after once peaking at No. 3. "Ojos Tristes" is one of two cuts taken from I Said I Love You First that still appear on Billboard's rankings, months after the full-length first appeared. "Bluest Flame" can be found on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs tally this week. Just like "Ojos Tristes," it reaches its tenth stint this time around and holds at No. 12.

Karol G Lands First No. 1 on Hot Latin Pop Songs Chart With ‘Milagros'
Karol G lands her first No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Latin Pop Songs chart as her new single 'Milagros' flies from No. 19 to the top of the May 24-dated ranking after its first full tracking week. 'Milagros' was released May 8 on Bichota Records/Interscope/ICLG, the last day of the May 2-8 tracking week. Thus, it debuted at No. 19 on the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart with only one day of activity. On the current list, it surges to No. 1 with a 687% boost in streams, that is 4.4 million clicks earned in the U.S. on the tracking week ending May 15, according to Luminate. Sales too, assist 'Milagros' rise to the summit, after a 253% gain in sales, with 1,000 downloads sold during the same period, enough for an equal No. 1 on Latin Digital Song Sales. Beyond its Hot Latin Pop Songs coronation, 'Milagros' also bows at No. 20 on the Hot Latin Songs chart, which also mixes airplay, streaming data and digital sales into its formula. With the new arrival, Karol adds her 68th career entry, an extends her record for the most career entries among women. Becky G & Manuel Turizo Hit It Off: Over on the Hot Tropical Songs chart, Becky G secures her maiden top 10 on her first try, thanks to 'Qué Haces,' with Manuel Turizo. The song debuts at No. 3 with 1.9 million streams registered on the May 15 tracking week. Plus, it launches at No. 17 on Tropical Airplay with 1.3 million audience impressions. In terms of digital sales, 'Qué Haces' logged little less than 1,000 downloads, enough for a No. 2 debut on Latin Digital Songs. For Turizo, 'Qué Haces' marks his second top 10 on Hot Tropical Songs, among three entries. 'En Privado,' with Xavi, took him to a No. 2 debut and peak on the April 12-dated tally. The chart blends streaming activity, sales, and radio airplay to determine which compositions that fit this particular definition are the most popular. Ever since it was introduced, one musician has dominated the tally, but after more than a month, the crown has finally been passed from one act to the next, and a second champion has been named. Karol G leads the Hot Latin Pop Songs chart this week. Her single 'Milagros,' which debuted at No. 19 last frame, rockets to No. 1 in its second stay on the ranking. The rise gives Karol her first leader on the list, and it makes her only the second musician to conquer the newly launched tally. She has accrued dozens of hits, and in 2023, the Grammy winner made history when she reached No. 1 on the all-style, all-language Billboard 200 with Mañana Será Bonito, one of the few Spanish-language albums to ever top the chart in American history.
