New Delhi: The engagement ceremony of Indian cricketer Rinku Singh and MP Priya Saroj was completed on Sunday at Hotel Centrum in Lucknow. As soon as Rinku Singh put the ring on Priya's finger in the presence of family members, relatives and friends, that moment became very emotional for Priya. During this, tears started flowing from the eyes of MP Priya Saroj.

Rinku Singh also became a little uncomfortable seeing tears in Priya Saroj's eyes. Meanwhile, the hotel staff arrived with tissue paper and Priya wiped the tears that had reached her cheeks. It is believed that when a daughter, be it a celebrity or a politician, is away from her parents, tears come.
Before this, Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj also got a pre-engagement shoot done in the hotel. Rinku in white sherwani and Priya Saroj in light pink lehenga reached the stage holding each other's hands and completed the ring ceremony ritual as per the rituals.
Priya brought a designer ring from Kolkata to make Rinku wear it, while Rinku also ordered a special ring for Priya from Mumbai. The price of both rings is said to be more than Rs 2.5 lakh. Rinku has made her mark in cricket, coming from a lower-middle-class family of Aligarh. MP Priya Saroj is from a convent-educated and political family. The two first met in the year 2023.
