Cafe Manzara now open in Brighton
BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WROC) — Now open in Brighton, Cafe Manzara! The Turkish cafe is at 2341 Monroe Avenue, right next to the Hotel on Monroe.
Here, 22-year-old first-time business owner Huseyin Sula, said they turned Turkish cafe cultures into a new cozy space.
'There's this cafe culture in Türkiye, where it's somewhere to go after work, after school, to sit down, to socialize, and that's what we try to bring here,' he said.

Sula says they completely transformed this space — which used to be a flooring company — even building their kitchen from scratch.
As for the menu, they have lighter fare, pastries, and Turkish specialties, alongside Sula's favorite, the panini-press style the sandwiches.
The main event is the authentic Turkish coffee, which Sula says has the same thickness as espresso without the bitterness, and the Turkish tea, a special blend which is served up for just $1.50.

Sula, a second generation immigrant who spent two years at the post office to save up money to open this cafe, says the coffee and tea is a warm invite to come in and spend some time at Manzara.
'Every customer that comes in alone, i just sit down and socialize with them, you work with them… It's fun,' he said.
Cafe Manzara is open every day starting at 8 a.m. and is open until 8 p.m. on weekdays and 11 p.m. on weekends.
