Body found in Carroll County identified as Pennsylvania native
Carroll County authorities have identified the man found dead and wrapped in a tarp last week as 30-year-old Douglas Hubler.
"He was born in Pennsylvania and may have been residing in New York state," Sheriff Calvin Graham said in a press release Tuesday morning.
He said Hubler's family has not had contact with him, with the most recent contact having been with his mother several months ago.
Graham said Hubler's family was notified of his death Tuesday.
Coroner Dr. Mandal Haas said on Monday that the victim had a gunshot wound to the head which was believed to have been inflicted by someone else.
Graham said authorities are investigating.

Road workers found Hubler's body beside Cashmere Road in Carroll County's Perry Township on Friday morning.
