The 2025 CONCACAF Gold Cup began this past Saturday, and all eyes are on Mexico and the USMNT, the two teams that have historically dominated the tournament in the past; Mexico has won the tournament nine times while the U.S., this year's host country, has won seven times. Both teams won their opening matches over the weekend, and Mexico will play Suriname this Wednesday for their second game.
