The local music scene is blowing up, as homegrown bands are enthralling the younger generation with their mix of dope new sounds and familiar Malaysian flair. Local bands will enjoy even further exposure at an upcoming music festival, which will feature hit acts such as Hujan and 6ixth Sense! The 'AKU, MUZIK, KAMU' Festival is back for its third edition, set to slay Kuala Lumpur this 26th and 27th July 2025. The festival, with its indie edition titled 'AKU, MUZIK, KAMU INDIE', brings a fire lineup of classic and new indie bands alike for all to enjoy. Here's what we know: This year's edition will feature 20 local bands over the course of two days of local indie magic. Among the acts performing at the festival are Hujan, 6ixth Sense, Meet Uncle Hussein and Midnight Fusic. Previously held in Johor in 2023 and 2024, the 'AKU, MUZIK, KAMU' Festival has welcomed seas of fans, with tickets selling out within a week. Noh Salleh To Join Siti Nurhaliza For Icon's Upcoming 30th Anniversary Concert
Last month, Biduanita Negara, Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, announced that she would be holding a special two-day 'Violet Skies' concert at the Arena of Stars, Resorts World Genting, in celebration of her 30th anniversary in the music industry. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the upcoming show in July, and as it is an anniversary concert, some have wondered whether the icon will be inviting a few of her friends to join her on stage. It was only recently that the star confirmed there would be a guest artist, prompting fans to speculate on who it might be. The guessing game came to an end earlier today (Monday, 26th May), when the icon finally revealed the identity of the mystery guest. Over the weekend, Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza announced on Instagram that there will be a special guest appearance at her upcoming 'Violet Skies' concert at the Arena of Stars.
