Abu Qasra affirmed Syria's commitment to deepening military cooperation with Jordan, highlighting the long-standing historical ties between the two nations. He also commended the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah and his ongoing efforts to promote peace and security across the region. The meeting was attended by senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) and their Syrian counterparts. Also on Wednesday, Huneiti received Commander of the German Joint Forces, Lieutenant General Alexander Sollfrank, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting focused on strengthening bilateral military relations and enhancing cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries, according to another JAF statement. The two sides discussed avenues for expanding joint training and capacity-building efforts, as well as addressing shared security challenges at both regional and international levels. Huneiti reiterated the depth of the strategic partnership between the JAF and the German military, highlighting the importance of exploring new opportunities for cooperation across various military domains. Sollfrank applauded the development and modernisation efforts of the JAF, expressing Germany's commitment to deepening military cooperation in ways that contribute to regional and global security and stability. The two sides exchanged views on enhancing joint coordination across various sectors and addressed recent developments in the region, underscoring the importance of continued collaboration to bolster regional stability and shared strategic interests. Caymazoglu expressed his appreciation for Jordan's pivotal role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah, in promoting peace and security across the region. He emphasised the need for sustained cooperation to support the armed forces of both nations. The meeting was attended by the Turkish Defense Attaché in Amman, along with several senior officers from the Jordan Armed Forces.

Army chief checks on resumption of Jordanian air base for Gaza relief air bridge
Ammon News - Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, Tuesday paid a visit to the King Abdullah II Air Base, where he was received by the Royal Jordanian Air Force commander and the base's commander. The inspection visit, where he was joined by foreign ambassadors and military attaches, was to check on technical and logistical matters at the base for the second phase of a humanitarian air bridge to the Gaza Strip, which includes a squadron of helicopters loaded with relief and medical aid supplies. Huneiti listened to a briefing by the base's commander on the progress of technical and logistical operations and future plans to ensure their efficiency, and the participation of Arab and world countries in the air bridge to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza. The army chief checked on the various squadrons of the base, where he was briefed on weapons and equipment used therein, commending their distinguished level and the morale of their members. The military attachés praised Jordan's humanitarian role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, and the armed forces' efforts in harnessing capabilities and resources to carry out their noble humanitarian duty.
