She has endured a series of injuries during her time at the north London club, and missed much of the 2024-25 season for personal reasons. Hurtig has made five Women's Super League appearances this season, scoring once, with her other goal for the club this term coming in the win against Juve which sealed the Gunners' progression to the knockout stages of the Champions League. In total Hurtig has scored seven goals in 36 appearances for Arsenal. The duo were part of the side that won the League Cup in 2023 and 2024. Ilestedt, 32, missed most of this season while on maternity leave and has made only three league appearances for Arsenal in 2024-25. The duo could make their final league appearance for Arsenal against Manchester United on Saturday. They will also be available for the Women's Champions League final, with Arsenal facing Barcelona on May 24 in Lisbon. Swedish forward Hurtig to leave Arsenal

Swedish international forward Lina Hurtig will leave Arsenal this summer when her current contract comes to an end. The Gunners announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning. Advertisement The 29-year-old attacker joined Arsenal from Italian club Juventus in summer 2022. She has gone on to score seven goals for The Gunners in 36 appearances in all competitions. Hurtig has helped Arsenal to win back-to-back Subway Women's League Cups in her time in North London. The player could yet add one further achievement to her tally with The Gunners set to contest the UEFA Women's Champions League final with FC Barcelona later this month. Hurtig has struggled with injuries in the last couple of seasons and she has been limited to just 11 substitute outings this term. She will now look for a fresh challenge this summer with her contract at Arsenal set to expire. Hurtig's next career move is not yet known but it is unlikely that she will continue to play her football in the Barclays Women's Super League. The forward is the first player to be leaving Arsenal at the end of the season. Further squad news will be revealed by the club in due course.
