Thousands of new fish introduced to Deer Meadow Pond
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Thousands of new fish were introduced into Moraine's Deer Meadow Pond on Monday.
Moraine Parks and Recreation shared the exciting news in a social media post.
This effort was made through a partnership with The Lake Doctors, a Florida-based Environmental Consultant. Deer Meadow is a 9-acre catch-and-release pond located in Deer Meadow Park.
Shooting range in Adams County to close for maintenance
The new fish are:
50,000 (approx.) minnows
650 Largemouth Bass
400 Hybrid Bluegill
300 Redear Sunfish
350 Channel Catfish
450 Black Crappie
40 Grass Carp
