Ledyard police seeking assistance identifying stolen vehicle suspects
LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) — Ledyard police are seeking the public's assistance in identifying suspects in a stolen vehicle incident Monday. The vehicle is a 2019 blue Hyundai Tuscon that was taken at around 7:30 p.m. in Ledyard Center. Anyone with more information is asked to contact officer Kyle Gleason at (860) 464-6400. Birmingham woman killed in 5-vehicle crash
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A Birmingham woman was killed in a five-vehicle crash that occurred in Jefferson County early Saturday morning, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Juanita L. Salery, 23, was injured when the 2016 Honda Accord she was driving collided head-on with a 2021 Hyundai Tuscon. After the initial impact, Salery's vehicle collided head-on with a 2021 Jeep Compass and then collided with a 2021 Kia Forte. A 2017 Ford Mustang struck debris in the roadway, causing damage to the vehicle. I-59 South lanes re-open after 5-vehicle crash in Jefferson County Salery was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash. She was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment, where she succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased. The drivers of the Hyundai Tuscon and the Jeep Compass were also injured and transported to UAB Hospital for treatment. The crash occurred at around 3:50 a.m. on Interstate 59 near the 119 mile marker, about one mile north of Fairfield. Troopers with ALEA's Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash. UPDATE: Silver Alert inactivated for missing Springdale man
SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — UPDATE: The Springdale Police Department has inactivated the Silver Alert. SPRINGDALE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing Springdale man. Charles Christopherson, 76, was last seen on Jan. 27 around 5 p.m. at 1011 June Drive in Springdale. He was last seen wearing a red and blue plaid shirt, jeans, glasses and a gold wedding. Christopherson may be traveling in a 2024 silver Hyundai Tuscon with Arkansas license plate USABWPA. Anyone with information is asked to contact Lt.
