Tata Motors has taken the wraps off the all-new 2025 Tata Altroz, a refreshed iteration of its premium hatchback, ahead of its official launch on May 22, a bold redesign, advanced technology, and segment-leading safety features, the facelifted Altroz aims to strengthen its position in India's competitive hatchback market, challenging rivals like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai 2025 Altroz introduces a striking exterior with sleek Luminate LED lamps, Infinity connected LED tail lamps, a new 3D front grille, and flush door handles, aligning with Tata's modern design language. Inside, the cabin has been transformed with a plush Grand Prestigia dashboard, premium materials, and dual UltraView 26.03 cm (10.25-inch) HD screens for infotainment and instrumentation. The vehicle offers five distinct personas—Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S—available in vibrant colours: Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pure Grey, Royal Blue, and Pristine remains a cornerstone of the Altroz, retaining its 5-star Global NCAP rating. Standard features across all variants include six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and ISOFIX child seat mounts. Higher trims add a 360-degree HD surround view system, blind spot monitoring, and an SOS calling function. The top-spec Accomplished+ S variant introduces iRA connected car technology, a wireless smartphone charger, and customizable AudioWorX modes, enhancing the tech-forward below are the variant-wise features of the newThough the company hasn't revealed much about Altroz's powertrain options, the Altroz will likely retain its versatile powertrain lineup, including a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (88bhp, 115Nm), a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol (118bhp, 170Nm) in the Racer edition, a 1.5-litre diesel (89bhp, 200Nm), and a 1.2-litre CNG option with twin-cylinder technology. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCA), ensuring flexibility for varied driving preferences. Fuel efficiency ranges from 18.2 km/l (turbo-petrol) to 23.5 km/l (diesel).The price of the new Altroz is expected to be slightly more than the outgoing model. The price of the outgoing Altroz starts at Rs 6.65 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 Altroz is poised to appeal to buyers seeking a blend of style, safety, and features.
