ALIVE Podcast Network Expands to Roku, Apple TV and Fire TV—Creating Global Stage for Dynamic Black Voices This Juneteenth
Pioneering a new era of representation, ALIVE amplifies purpose-driven Black voices across global TV platforms.
WASHINGTON, DC, May 21, 2025 (EZ Newswire) -- In a historic move for Black media and independent creators, the ALIVE Podcast Network is expanding its digital footprint to the world's largest streaming platforms—Roku, Apple TV, and Fire TV—with an official launch this Juneteenth.
This milestone marks a new era for culturally rooted, creator-led content: where Black stories are no longer confined to audio via the network's proprietary app but will boldly step into the living rooms of millions around the world.
Founded by media visionary and award-winning producer Angel N. Livas, ALIVE Podcast Network becomes the first independent Black podcast network to debut on all three major TV streaming platforms—bringing faith, culture, purpose, and truth-telling into households hungry for authenticity and representation.
'This isn't just about access—it's about authority,' says Livas. 'We're creating a new channel for global impact—where Black voices can be seen, heard, and honored on their own terms.'
As part of its Juneteenth celebration, ALIVE will present the exclusive television re-release of the acclaimed documentary I AM BLACK: The Enlightenment, which originally debuted on YouTube in 2020. The film features powerful reflections on the Black male experience in America and the criminal justice system, followed by a dynamic post-screening panel with cultural icons including Rev. Dr. Howard John Wesley, Jr., Dr. Michael Eric Dyson, and the late Tommy Dortch, among others.
This rebroadcast marks the first time the documentary will be available on a global television stage—serving as both a tribute and a torch for what's to come.
ALIVE's expansion arrives at a critical moment, as many creators of color continue to face challenges around discoverability and creative control. Unlike mainstream platforms, ALIVE protects the authenticity of its hosts, offering them a space to grow their brands while owning their message.
'Our creators are thought leaders, pastors, entrepreneurs, comedians, and everyday truth-tellers,' says Livas. 'They don't need permission to be powerful—just a platform. And ALIVE is that space where they're not only seen and heard, but empowered to thrive.'
The Juneteenth launch will introduce a curated slate of video podcasts designed to uplift, entertain, and transform—proving that Black excellence isn't a moment, but a movement.
This isn't just the next step for ALIVE—it's a cultural shift for the entire podcasting landscape.
