Mr. Soundoff Says: Girls high school basketball numbers declining, despite all time high talent level
Mr. Soundoff Says – A recent survey sent out by the IGHSAU asked high school girls basketball coaches and athletic directors the reason for the decline in participation numbers.
The top 2 reasons were, basketball requires a lot of skills, and it competes directly with club volleyball.
John Sears says despite the decline, the overall talent remains incredibly high.
