Chartered Accountancy Final, Inter, International Taxation exam dates rescheduled
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially revised the exam schedule for CA Final, CA Intermediate, and International Taxation – Assessment Test or the INTT-AT papers that were earlier set between May 9 and May 14, 2025. The new exam dates now stretch from May 16 to May 24, update came via an ICAI notification dated May 10, and the reason behind the rescheduling is the improved security situation across the country. This decision gives ICAI better logistical ease to conduct the exams here's the key part -- there are no changes in exam centres or timings. All exams will still be held from 2 pm to 5 pm, with some extended till 6 pm for papers marked with an asterisk (*). And yes, your admit cards remain valid -- you don't need to download new ones. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has shared a revised schedule for the CA Intermediate and Final exams 2024. The examination, which was initially scheduled to take place between 9 and 14 May 2025, has been postponed due to the India-Pakistan escalation. ICAI has revised the schedule, and now these exams will take place between May 16 and 24, 2025. 18 May INTT – AT, Paper – 2 13 May 18 May CA Intermediate (Group II) Paper – 4 9 May 20 May CA Intermediate (Group II) Paper – 5 11 May 22 May CA Intermediate (Group II) Paper – 6 14 May 24 May ICAI's revised schedule notification ICAI decided to reschedule the exam due to improved security conditions in the country. The ICAI issued an official notification, which read, 'In continuation to the Institute's Important Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/2025 dated 13th January 2025 read with Important Announcement No. 13-CA (EXAM)/2025/II dated 8th May 2025 it is hereby announced for general information that in view of the favourable developments in the security situations in the country; it has now been decided that the Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate and INTT-AT (PQC) examinations earlier scheduled from 9th May 2025 to 14th May 2025 will now be held from 16th May 2025 to 24th May 2025.' The institute has already shared the admit cards, and there will be no changes in the exam centres or timings. All the students are advised to appear at their assigned centres on the new dates mentioned. CA Foundation exam The CA Foundation exam will take place as per the original schedule, i.e., on 15, 17, 19 and 21 May 2025. Students are advised to check the ICAI website regularly for any further updates.

ICAI CA May 2025 revised exam schedule released; existing admit cards valid
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released the revised exam schedule for the Chartered Accountants May 2025 exams. As per the notification, the Final and Intermediate examinations will be conducted from May 16 to 24, 2025. The examinations will take place at the same examination centres and during the same time slots, i.e., from 2.00 pm to 5.00 pm / 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm as notified previously. The institute has announced the revised date sheet now. The exams which were scheduled to be held from May 9 to May 14 will now take place from May 16 to 24, as per the official notice. ICAI CA May 2025 Exams: Revised Schedule The CA Final Group I exams were held on May 2, 4, and 6, while the Group II exams were scheduled to take place on May 8, 10, and 13. Similarly, the ICAI CA Intermediate Group I exams were conducted between May 3 to May 7 however, the Group II exam which were scheduled to be held on May 9, 11, and 14, have been postponed. As per ICAI's passing criteria, candidates need to score at least 40 per cent in each paper. CA Exams Scheduled From May 9-14 Postponed Due To Security Situation, Check New Dates
CA Exams May 2025 New Dates: Amid a heightened security situation in the country, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has once again deferred the Chartered Accountants Final, Intermediate, and International Taxation - Assessment Test (INTT-AT) examinations, which were originally scheduled from May 9 to May 14. The exams will now be held from May 16 to May 24. As per the revised schedule, the Final Examination (Group II) Paper 5 on Indirect Tax Laws and INTT-AT Paper 1 on Transfer Pricing, earlier scheduled for May 10, will now be held on May 16. Similarly, Final Paper 6 on Integrated Business Solutions and INTT-AT Paper 2 on International Tax - Practice, scheduled for May 13, has been moved to May 18. The Intermediate Examination (Group II) Paper 4, Cost and Management Accounting, earlier set for May 9, will now be conducted on May 20. Paper 5 on Auditing and Ethics, originally planned for May 11, will take place on May 22, while Paper 6 on Financial Management and Strategic Management, scheduled for May 14, is rescheduled for May 24. The examination centres and timings remain unchanged, with papers scheduled from 2pm to 5pm or 2pm to 6pm, as applicable. Admit cards already issued will remain valid for the rescheduled dates. The Chartered Accountants Foundation May 2025 examinations will proceed as planned on May 15, 17, 19, and 21. "There would be no change in the examination schedule in the event of any day of the examination scheduled being declared a public or local holiday," ICAI clarified in its notice.
