Ravindra Jadeja became the latest player to fail the mandatory bat size test during Chennai Super Kings' IPL 2025 home game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Chennai on Friday, April 25. Jadeja walked in to bat at No. 4 during the powerplay, and the on-field umpire immediately approached him to check his bat bat failed to pass through the house-shaped gauge, leaving the Chennai Super Kings all-rounder slightly embarrassed. In a humorous moment, Jadeja slammed the bat on the ground in an attempt to resize it so it would fit through the gauge. Jadeja is not the first batter to fail the bat size test in IPL 2025.
