Gemma alerted fans to her health woes with a selfie that was taken from her sickbed.
With no make-up on and in her pyjamas, the former Towie star apologised for keeping a low profile online.
She then shocked fans further with a picture on Instagram of her arm hooked up to several drips via a cannula.
Admitting she was really struggling with fatigue, Gemma said: "Hey guys sorry been quiet i have Pneumonia 🤍 I'm not as fast or on it as I usually am on the daily 🤍
"I am still honouring my work commitments which is taking every bit of energy i have but will be back entertaining you all soon."
Over on her Stories, she also posted a shot of a doctor labelling a box of medication.
"Thank you to everyone helping me," Gemma continued.
"I've had pneumonia for three weeks and honestly can't thank everyone, all the docs helping me.
"I'm having to take it easy which is not like me, very slow and get so out of breath and tired so quick."
Gemma said her pet dog Gucci has been comforting her throughout her illness.

Gemma is unfortunately no stranger to IV drips.
In 2022, she was prescribed antibiotics, steroids and an antibiotic ear spray during a nasty bout of illness.
The star also forked out £350 for a private vitamin drip in an effort to speed up her recovery.
At the time, she said: "Well and truly overdone it.
'I'm looking forward to a weekend of rest and relaxing and getting better.
'As much as I try to carry on, the body sometimes wants you to stop.'
Gemma has been met with a flurry of get well messages following her current pneumonia diagnosis.
One fans said: "Get well soon, rest up and sending love and hugs xxx."
Another added: "Hope you feel better soon lovely ❤️❤️."
And a third wrote: "I wish you a speedy recovery, Gemma Take it easy and get well first. Your health comes first."
Gemma's close celebrity pals Jedward - aka John and Edward Grimes - also told her: "You giving us all so much energy and good vibes! Get your rest! Wouldn't want anything to happen to you ❤️."
